The Success Lift Podcast

Feb 7, 2022

In this episode of The Success Lift Podcast, Brian speaks about the goals and resolutions we all had for 2022, but for some reason, weren’t achieved. After one month into the New Year, it’s important to look back and audit it so see what worked and what didn’t. It’s completely normal to fall off track, but what most people don’t get is that we don’t have to sacrifice the whole journey for the sake of just one deviation.

Brian also highlights the importance of being comfortable with making mistakes, being ok with breaking a consistent pattern, and accepting that we are flawed humans… but there is beauty in not being perfect. And hey, you can always pick up the healthy habits from where you left off, right? Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself two questions: "Who do I want to be?" and "What does this moment call for?"

Key Highlights

  • We find ourselves truly self-confident when we struggle with something for a couple of days (or weeks) but we find the power to get out of it;
  • Falling off track is normal, we all do it at one point, but true change only comes if you feel comfortable with being imperfect;
  • Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what type of person do you want to be from this very moment on;
  • Be comfortable with being flawed;
  • We all should look back to our day and try to find out what worked, what didn’t work, and what needs to be changed.
